Mjölk Café

A Nordic inspired café serving sweet treats and coffee.

Taking a moment for coffee and cake is one of the best parts of the day. And in Scandinavian culture this is especially true, with the concept of “fika”, meaning to make time for friends to share a cup of coffee and something to eat. At Mjölk they’ve taken the fika idea and created a whole cafe around it, with nods to Scandinavia all around.

This warm and welcoming family run café can be found right by the iconic Bath Abbey. Serving Nordic cuisine, like the classic cinnamon bun or Mazariner (Swedish almond tarts) heavenly chocolate balls, or if you just can’t pick what looks best, why not get one the Scandi Fika mixed boxes containing a mixed selection of treats. And of course, deliciously crafted coffee and a selection of teas to sip while you watch Bath go by. Take your pick and settle in for a moment of calm.

“Bringing a taste of FIKA culture and design from the Nordics to the heart of Bath.” Chris, Owner, Mjölk Café
