Founded and opened in early 2020, Taylor’s Bagels is a cosy spot nestled on Walcot Street. The focus is serving great coffee with service that will make you feel right at home, and of course, as their name suggests, bagels! At the counter you’ll also find a menu boasting sweet treats, pastries and a few light bites. Whatever you’re in the mood for, you’ll find it at Taylor’s Bagels.
Specialising in bagels, the menu offers classics such as smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers. You might fancy something a little different though - try the New Yorker: salt beef, pickles, emmental, sauerkraut and wholegrain mustard; or maybe asian pulled pork, fried egg and topped off with a spicy mayo. Every bagel is made in a certain way so that they’re extra, extra tasty. Formed before the dough rises, the bagels are then allowed to rise naturally, before going through a 48 hour sourdough process and then boiled and baked, ready for devouring by hungry customers.
