Friends Are Electric

Creative people doing a world of good

Home > Explore > Bath > Friends Are Electric

Friends Are Electric may be one of Bath’s smallest cafes but it packs a massively stylish punch with coffee, freshly made lunches and a fittingly bijou selection of cakes, all in the most beautifully designed space. Design and coffee often go hand in hand but here the design and the coffee not only look good but they do good too: the table tops are made from re-imagined yoghurt pots, the cups are made from leftover coffee grounds and Frome-based 'Girls Who Grind Coffee' provide coffee that supports female farmers and growers.

Located a stone's throw from the iconic Pultney Bridge, they are close enough to be central but just off the beaten track enough to be your special little secret. Friends Are Electric is one of those hidden treasures that will give you a gratifying feeling of being in the know.

It's not just about us, it's about introducing everyone to other creative people that are working towards a better world Becki, Owner
