A haven where community, local food and sustainability run deep
Cornercopia in the heart of Brixton Village Market is a shop like no other. Part house plant shop and part larder, Cornercopia have torn up the rule book and turned their tiny urban space into a haven of locally made produce from local makers, breweries and distilleries.
Resembling a verdant urban jungle from the outside, the house plant shop sells small gardening equipment, plant pots and books on everything from preserving to bee keeping, all nestled amongst the plants, many of which they grow themselves in their Brixton greenhouse. The Larder is a cornerstore with a difference. Providing a space where local growers and makers can sell their produce. Whether it’s jams and preserves, honey from Brixton Bees or chutneys made in South London Cornercopia gives locals a unique opportunity to test the market in a lovely local space.
