Cornercopia Homestore

Classic design meets the height of function in this handsome homestore.

Cornercopia’s Homestore is an eclectic mix of locally made ceramics, glassware, and kitchenware lovingly curated in Brixton Village Market. When William Blake said that you should “have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful” he must surely have had in mind the kind of items that fill this bijou purveyor of the beautifully useful.

Packed to the rafters with Welsh woollen throws, soaps, preserving pans, enamelware and brushes to clean everything from mushrooms to your stairs, this shop is an ode to a largely bygone era of traditional handmade items; a love letter to functional design classics that are meant to last. The shop is open daily but owner Anne Fairbrother puts this down to shop-cat Ginger’s need for company rather than anything as mundane as money making.

We pride ourselves on selling useful, beautiful and curious things for the home. Anne, Owner
