A cafe doing big things to celebrate being small
Milk Teeth: they’re small but vitally important, sweet-loving but strong. That’s exactly what Josh wanted to create for the Bristol community with his coffee shop. Hosting gigs with up and coming Bristol artists, supporting local roasteries and food producers, Milk Teeth is a celebration of all things small. Josh’s delicious sweet waffles have also gained the cafe a strong following across Bristol.
Big airy windows, cosy wooden tables and friendly staff welcome you in. The tempting smell of fresh coffee makes you stay.
Created thanks to a crowdfunding campaign, Milk Teeth is very much a community space. Here you won't just find trendy young millennials with their flat whites but also mums with pushchairs alongside office workers and retirees. Sit at the old piano or browse the locally sourced deli items to take home on the shelves while you sip away and watch the world of St Paul's go by.
Milk Teeth is all about giving people a stage for their ideas - whether that's through stocking products from people who are just starting out in the food business, arranging music events to promote new music talent, or trying to promote my fellow small business owners through social media - and I'm always looking for new ways we can use our platform to pull others up.
