Palmer Street Bottle

Frome's newest tap bar and cheese deli

New to Palmer Street, Simon’s bottle shop specialise in craft beers, wines and spirits, showcasing the best in local producers as well as a range of UK based and International makers and brewers. Like no other bar in Frome, Palmer Street Bottle offers something a little bit different. One of their great passions is cheese, born from a family background in dairy production, which is reflected in the interior design and the origins of the contemporary furniture. The tables, for instance, are made with wood previously used to store Westcombe Cheddar. You can still see the rings in the wood where the cheese had been!

The shop functions as both a bar with a lunchtime menu, serving daily snacks as well as a cheese offering rivalling a traditional cheesemongers. They have excellent, carefully selected cheese recommendations to compliment a beautiful craft beer or glass of wine either to eat in or takeaway from their deli counter. Check out their offering of locally sourced, organic produce to take away as well as to enjoy in house. You’re also welcome to pick up a bottle of beer and wine for the road, which includes a refill station where you can fill up one of their glass growlers to take home. Enjoy a drink in their relaxed seating space and choose from their tasty, cheesy menu to compliment your chosen beverage.

It's a friendly, relaxed destination where you can have a delicious bite to eat, try one of the carefully selected beers or wines, or just enjoy a coffee and a chat. Simon Bowden, owner
