If you’re after a pizza stop looking now and head straight to The Oven. For not only are the wood-fired pizzas served here cooked in the traditional Neapolitan way, but Head Chef Fabrizio Mancinetti was awarded Pizza Chef of The Year for 2016.
Fun and informal the atmosphere is rustic and industrial, beers are served by the bottle and large tables and friendly waiters happily cater to big parties. However, don’t be fooled into thinking there’s anything relaxed about the cooking – this is a place that takes its pizza seriously. Fabrizio is a chef that really knows his stuff and the menu is a combination of classic Neapolitan favourites while offering more unusual varieties too. All pizzas are prepared using artisan ingredients sourced directly from Italy and cooked in a specially made, wood-fired oven for no more than 90 seconds at extremely high temperatures, resulting in a unique crust and mouth-watering flavour.
