reclaimed and restored wooden furniture
Restoration Station is a hidden gem in the heart of Shoreditch. Only open twice a week at present, it's a must visit for anyone who loves real wood furniture and restored pieces. Each piece of furniture is carefully selected for quality, sourced from house clearances or donated. They are then fully restored, using traditional techniques, by the team who have all been trained at the SCT's new Hanbury Project. Each piece is hand finished before being put up for sale in the workshop / studio.
As well as restoring furniture, the team also sell original pieces created out of reclaimed materials, giving them more scope to experiment with both traditional and contemporary designs. Do you have any wooden furniture that's seen better days? Why not donate it? Or if you can't bear to part with it, why not enquire about commissioning the team to restore your furniture, for a very reasonable price?
If you'd like to learn more about this project, commission work or donate well designed wooden furniture, please give us a call Sheona, director
